I just resolved an issue that we who live in polar like environments would love to be cognizant of. That is how to lock your vehicle from the outside while it is still running and warming up..after you have started your car and exited it and closed the drivers door..take out the metal key from the key fob and use it to insert the end of it into the bottom of door handle to remove the attachment and exposing the key hole for the metal key..insert the metal key into the key hole and turn to the left...viola..it is lock
