Need torque specs
I need torque specs for transmission pan bolts. Replaced filter and put new pan gasket on and it is leaking. Grrrr, think I may have overtightened that rubber gasket, as hard as I tried not to. Would love to have a resource for all torque specs for the car. Help!

For 2007-2009 LS460, the repair manual says the torque for the 9 transmission pan bolts is 66 inch (big note: it is 66 pound/inch, not foot!).

I don't have service manual for 2010 (my car is 2008). However, since the transmission hardware for 2010 didn't change from 2007-2009 MYs, I would think that the torque for the transmission bolts remained the same for 2010. In any case, when you tighten the transmission pan bolts, begin in the middle bolts and tighten them evenly and gradually towards the outside of the pan. Don't tighten any single bolt all at once. BTW, are you using genuine Lexus OE rubber gasket or the BECK/ARNLEY rubber gasket (as part of the 044-0372 filter and gasket kit)?

Parts were fine. Just be sure all the surfaces of the pan that touch the gasket are clean from the old one or it will leak. 2nd time around it is not as much fun!

Yes. You also need Techstream to do it right. There are work arounds to Techstream, like measure exactly what fluid you remove and only put that much back in. Got my Techstream on EBay. Suggestion, get a quote from your dealer, that will help you make a decision.

Planning to call and get a quote. I bought a WiFi OBDII code reader. Do you think that will do instead of the tech stream?
The only issue I think I might run into is jacking up the car and having access to do it.

any advise?

Found a reputable transmission shop that will do the work for me at a good price. Should I do a drain and fill only with filter, or do the whole Shebang with 12 qt service, filter and gasket?
Im paranoid doing the whole system flush after reading about the tranny messing up when doing that.
please help.

Is this the correct part for all years, 2007-2017, LS460 RWD? Amazon is showing it is not the correct fit whereas reviews say they fit but do not mention the car year. Based on the AA80E mentioned in the review I think it should fit.
Here is partsgeek. It shows 2007-2013 only. If so, what is the filter kit for 2016?
