Default Troubles installing Beat-Sonic setup, asking for others input

Hey all. As title says I’m installing the Beat-Sonic setup to run IPhone mirroring and it’s a great kit well put together and straight forward installation. The YouTube video made it so easy. Well worth the watch. But I’m stuck on one part. I can’t see if I have the wrong wire or not but it looks like I have right wire but it’s not plugging in. From what I can see I have the correct wire, the Nav wire and it looks to be a greyish connection as seen in the pic below. And the internal connector is square and the kit it’s round. Is there something I’m not getting correct here, because it’s not clicking into place like all the other connections. Which tells me it’s the wrong connector.... or I have the wrong wire. One of the 2. I email them already but since my car center console and radio is torn out of the car was hoping to maybe get some thoughts ASAP so I ideally don’t have to put it all back together to take it back apart again if I got something wrong. So I will drive the GS tomorrow and hopefully get this figured out sooner rather than later.... here’s the pix...

This is the factory wire (grey) Beat-Sonic kit pigtail in white.

Close up of exactly where it click into place. You can see it’s definiely a square not circular like the white end from the kit.

That was going to be my advice: Call Eric or Sam at Beatsonic. They are very helpful; after all, they sold you the kit!

Glad it worked out! Looking forward to your thoughts with the mirroring kit. I have been very happy with it. The non-Apple Lightning extension cables to hook up the phone may start acting up after a few months, and stop mirroring after 5-10 min, and needs to be re-plugged every time, which is very annoying.

So far it’s great!! I l read some of the threads talking about the extension cable giving trouble. So I actually ran all the cables as far into the console as I could just Incase of that issue. So for me I have the Apple usb cord and I ran a 1ft HDMI cable down the console to the front of the center console armrest. So if you slide the armresr back and remove that plastic part that you remove to take apart the console in general I have the Apple HDMI adapter right there with the 6ft extension lightning cable right there!!

Only been 2 days but love it so far!!!
