Default Lower control arm before and after

Hi all, did a lot of reading of control arm threads, not many compared the ride and handling before and after so some thoughts below

I brought my ls460 in for a oil change, while there tech took a ride with me and suggested i need lower control arms.
he contacted lexus they sent an inspector for the warranty and it was appoved. the car has 71,000 miles on it

the car is riding great now and rode good before. i notice its a lot smoother and handling road imperfections 15-20% better.

noticing a lot less left to right movement over road imperfections.
as an example of the improvement i put w rated michelins on my car right before the car went into service.
before the control arms were done just the lowers, i was bringing my air pressure down to 33 which is what it should be to lessen the harshness from 35
i got the car from dealer they put 38 psi cold in and today i brought it down to 35 psi cold
car is riding better at 35 psi now than it did before at 33.
i would say its worth doing.

does anyone know the symptoms to look for for the top 4 upper control arms.
so before my warranty runs out i can have them checked

cheers

I had vibrations through the steering wheel at higher speeds that made me think I had a tire balance issue. After 3 Road Force balance payments, we determined it was control arms.

I did the front arms on our LS460 after the Costco tire guys spotted odd tire wear during an rotation/balance. The import shop said the bushings on the upper front arms were the issue, but since I had already purchased a full set of aftermarket front arms, I had them all replaced. I had not noticed any ride or noise issues, so after the work was done the ride did not change much but the tires are wearing better. I kept the factory arms they pulled, and pressed new bushings into the uppers arms which I plan to install on my newest, higher mileage LS600 next week. It has a suspension rattle that I suspect is bushing related, so crossing my fingers that will resolve it. A full set of NISTO bushings was only $80 and appear to be quality bushings, however the arm installation will likely set me back $400-500 if the prior work is any indication.

Yes, they are made in Thailand and had decent online reviews. The proof will be in the ride and durability; time shall tell.
