2014 LS460 L with 210k miles
#16
I searched for a while to find the L with comfort plus, no air ride, and no AWD, the downside was I had to fly to Pittsburgh from Minneapolis and then drive it home to get it. I’d have a lot of heartburn if my door panels were disintegrating, and would have gone for the upgrade to avoid it if needed.
What’s BSM?

Thanks for the clarification. BSM would be very cool.
How about the interface for voice to text, and speech recognition, along with a Google Map like navigation system in the newer LS model? My buddy just got his kid a new $18,000 Subaru and the cars interface is like using the latest smartphone. Is it better in the newer ones? My 2007 LS is much better than my 1990 Mercedes (LOL, it had a cassette deck, and a seek scan radio), but by todays standards it's sorrowful.

It doesn't beep at all. All you see is the light in the mirror. It's fantastic. I think it's actually dangerous to go drive a car without it once you get used to having it. You think you'll never put that level of trust in the electronics....but you do.

I agree. My LS is the first car I ever had with BSM, and I like it. No beeps, just an extra confirmation when you look in the left or right mirror that what you think is clear really is clear.

$14.1K for this?!
Even if it was used for highway runs, there's no way I'd buy a car previously used in a commercial capacity, unless it was something truly unusual, like a six-door '96 Fleetwood. Even then, it's going to have fewer than 60K miles on it to get my attention.
I used to drive commercially back in college; tour bus, limo, airport shuttle. Even the limo had a bunch of idling hours on it, and the owner's demanded you weren't to sit idling, even in 100F temps, without the client on board. Nope, homey don't play that.
Commercial vehicles are driven hard, unless it's owner-operator. Plus, you have wear-and-tear on, in this case, the rear passenger area.
