Default Wow! Solved my vibration issue

So been chasing a vibration ghost on my 2007 LS460L and solved it this weekend. For notes...

1) Road Forced Balanced twice (once on my own and once with Lexus dealer despite me showing them I did it 3weeks prior)
2) Replaced Wheel Hub Bearings
3) Replaced Rotors/Brake Pads
4) Replaced Front Upper/Lower Control Arms (which cleared about 90% of the problem)
5) Replaced Front/Rear Stabilizer Arms

The vibration seemed to come from the rear and I had the car on jacks with wheels removed, with the plan to replace the bushings on the rear control arms...When I noticed a Hub Centric Ring was broken (see image)...Broken Hub Centric Ring.pdf

Didn't think much of it, and ordered these new Aluminum billet rings...

Was about start removing the rear arms, when I realized that I did not have the right sleeve sizes for the bushings I ordered from Febest. After some cussing, I put her back together with the New Hub Centric Rings, went for a drive, and behold the vibration was GONE! I'm not talking subdued, I'm talking GONE GONE!!!!

Turns out I have for 8 months been chasing a problem that was related to cracked broken polycarbonate hub centric rings on 2 wheels and cracked on the other 2 wheels. $13 and my car drives like brand new. Wanted to share asap for any others.

Yes, they sit right on the hub. I run 245/45/19 on my '07 LS460L. If you have polycarbonate, I highly recommend replacing with Aluminum. I even found them on Amazon for $7.99 later, so I could have saved $5.

BTW, triple check your OD & ID sizing. I ordered 73.1mm OD & 60.1 ID, and I had mismeasured mine. I should have ordered 72.6mm OD & 60.1 ID. Ended up running them around my benchtop grinder to take off the 0.5mm get them to fit. I probably should have sent them back and ordered the right sizing, but they work great, so no worries.

To avoid any confusion, which I am sorta seeing on replies. These rings are only needed if you are running aftermarket wheels that are not 60.1mm hubcentric

Many people overlook hub centric rings when they slap on aftermarket wheels. Nothing like the typical 73 mm opening centered on a Lexus 60.1mm hub.

Well the key thing to remember is that I had hub centric rings on the hub, but they were polycarbonate and were broken on the bottom where it couldn’t be seen. Moving to aluminum rings made all the difference in performance.

So if you have aftermarket rims, check your hub centric rings and if they’re polycarbonate, then consider replacing with aluminum.

Not-so-minor point that I either missed or was not mentioned in our other exchange, but I sure as heck I'm happy it's resolved AND that you didn't need to tinker with the driveshaft!

Amen to that brother! Just the thought of driveshaft work was making me real sad. Thanks for all the help.

so hub centric rings are put on when your offset is different from the factory offset right? is that what is it is for? because I currently am thinking of doing he following I need to know if i need this rungs and what size:

"So guys i know if i run the fronts R19 at 8.5" with the stock 120 x 5 and 33 offset on 245 50s no issues there, for the back though, everything being the same the width is 9.5" and the offset is 38. So what kind of ring or hub thing do I need to get and at what size?how is that determined?"
