Wait, you had ANOTHER LS totaled?! That's terrible!
Yep, welcome to rt 95 every morning. It sucked but, I walked away fine. No air bags went off but, the car was rear ended... and the insurance company gave it a total loss...
Sigh... at least my new 2014 is in a lot nicer shape and like 1/2 the miles... I did lose dynamic cruse through. A very hard to find feature. Getting a newer one in this current pricing market was imposable.
If you want to see how my car came out.... I posted a picture on Twitter...
This newer car is the silver lining. Really nice color and materials. So glad you're OK. 30 years ago you'd likely have neck injuries. Engineers have made cars to keep us safe.
Washed with 2 bucket method, vacuumed carpet, wiped clean interior including seats with damp cloth, washed rubber floor mats, applied Shin-Etsu grease on door seals including rubber in trunk and hood!
Replaced both front seat filters. Bought green Lexuspartsnow.com2 minutes job but require slim arms. Remove floor mat, pull seat all the way forward, and all the way up. Counter clockwise to remove and clockwise to install. You will hear a click.
Attached pictures for filter location and part # reference. $13.50 per filter. You can wash and reuse as well.
Ok it's been a while since I've posted on CL, so not necessarily thing I did *today*.
Genuine leather sleeve for credit card key:
I also got around to fitting the metal Mastermind badges I bought a while ago. For those that don't know, Mastermind is a high end Japanese fashion label founded in the 90's by a guy who worked in a Yohji Yamamoto store. I bought these badges on impulse, but it turns out they fit into the chrome rear door strips perfectly.
