My 2014 got totaled about a month ago, so I found a really nice 2014 in white with bamboo wood inside it and almost flawless shape. Pics coming soon.

Anyway, I installed my Android Auto kit into my new car today and tested it, a fun (not!) project...

She's working good now. A few minor things I gota deal with but, she drives fair better than my last 2014....world of difference.

Yep, welcome to rt 95 every morning. It sucked but, I walked away fine. No air bags went off but, the car was rear ended... and the insurance company gave it a total loss...

Sigh... at least my new 2014 is in a lot nicer shape and like 1/2 the miles... I did lose dynamic cruse through. A very hard to find feature. Getting a newer one in this current pricing market was imposable.

If you want to see how my car came out.... I posted a picture on Twitter...

And a quick post on Facebook for family on the replacement car, it needs a bath so I will do that soon and make a post here...

Wow that's terrible--people drive so distracted nowadays. Glad you walked away without getting hurt!

I also love the bamboo! I thought that was hard to find outside of the hybrids.

This newer car is the silver lining. Really nice color and materials. So glad you're OK. 30 years ago you'd likely have neck injuries. Engineers have made cars to keep us safe.

Washed with 2 bucket method, vacuumed carpet, wiped clean interior including seats with damp cloth, washed rubber floor mats, applied Shin-Etsu grease on door seals including rubber in trunk and hood!

Finally much needed love

It's in the process, he did wife's car and the interior came out looking brand new. Her car needs a light paint correction, I'll schedule that soon

Replaced both front seat filters. Bought green Lexuspartsnow.com2 minutes job but require slim arms. Remove floor mat, pull seat all the way forward, and all the way up. Counter clockwise to remove and clockwise to install. You will hear a click.

Attached pictures for filter location and part # reference. $13.50 per filter. You can wash and reuse as well.

Much better than swapping to non OEM blades. Depending on sun exposure the arms will last over a decade.

Ok it's been a while since I've posted on CL, so not necessarily thing I did *today*.

Genuine leather sleeve for credit card key:

I also got around to fitting the metal Mastermind badges I bought a while ago. For those that don't know, Mastermind is a high end Japanese fashion label founded in the 90's by a guy who worked in a Yohji Yamamoto store. I bought these badges on impulse, but it turns out they fit into the chrome rear door strips perfectly.
