Got a B1442 code from Carista App
I just purchased Carista and did a diagnostics on my Lexus and this one trouble code popped up. I looked up the code and the internet says a couple of different things: "Door handle switch failure" and "Air Inlet Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit". I don't know which one to investigate, but I do know that I've had problems with my door unlock actuators and had 2 replaced recently. But the doors are working great now. I'm scratching my head. Anyone have experience with this? No "Service Engine" light is on.

I am sure its a AC code. Did you run the test in a garage?? In know if you do the AC will show a certain fault code everytime. If your AC is running good than move the car out into the sun and run test again. If you get it again than a door motor is bad in the vent system.

Thanks guys, super helpful. I'll clear the code and then retest to see if it comes back. This is my first use of the Carista app, but I did just pick it up from the shop after they fixed the door actuators and other things.

Boo. The code came back and it's listed under the "Heater/Air Conditioning" category in Carista's app. The A/C seems to be running well with the exception that the "Auto" light on the climate control button comes on every time the car starts and hangs there for about 30 seconds and then automatically turns off. I then have to hit it again to engage it. Super annoying on a hot day. Does this sound related?
