Got my 2017 LS460 tinted few months ago. It was done in the local shop. Shop owner did commented on excessive dust even though car was detailed the day before. Guy told me that they had to do some extra preparation to avoid dust trapped under the film. Everything worked out just fine, no defects, no bubbles. I am happy with the result.
