Electric trunk actuator motor for 2013 LS460
Ladies and Gentlemen :
Does anyone know what company builds the trunk actuator motor for the LS 460. The motor on my wife's car operates intermittently. As of late it has stopped working altogether. I took the car to Stevens creek Lexus in April of 2018. After waiting 3.5 hours, they told me it would cost $2815.00 to change the motor. I paid them $189.00 for the diagnostic fee and told them to put the trunk back together.
When I returned home, I found out that the part from Lexus was $1100.00. I am guessing that the actual manufacturer sells it for less. Ideas anyone?
