Update: Sticky door panels, warranty program
General information concerning the above. 2012 LS. Contacted the Dealer on December 31, 2018. Lexus, with pictures and over the phone approved the replacement of the four door panels, glove box, lower dash, driver’s side, and front and rear center box, eight parts in all. Ordered that day. The lower dash was received and replaced two weeks ago. Today the four door panels and the glove box assembly were replaced. Very happy with the match and the work. Took only two hours today. Need the front and rear box to complete the job. Looks great.
The entire door panels were replaced top to bottom. The whole glove box assembly was replaced including the inside. I am passing this along so others in the same situation will know what to expect. I was told it would take some time to receive the parts and it did, this was OK. I got them in the end. The upper dash seems OK at least for now. Not perfect but OK. Have another two years under the warranty to keep an eye on this and have it replaced if needed.
I understand that the warranty covers the eight parts I had replaced plus the upper dash.
Hope this helps anyone who has questions or concerns.

Maybe I need to visit my dealer. I've got the ghetto Armor-All sheen but my panels aren't sticky yet. I dont want to wait until the year 20,000 for my parts to come in

Park your car in the sun with the windows up, let it heat up inside. If you have a problem you will know it, things will get sticky, there’s no mistaking it.

I always put my sunshade up though. Ugh. Yeah, I know - when cheap rubber deteriorates, it turns into pure sticky goop. My car isn't there yet.
