After a week in a 4cyl Camry...my LS feels like a learjet...
As those of you who followed my rear-ending a few weeks ago know my LS has been in the shop for the past 2 weeks. Luckily I was away the first week, but since I got back I spent about a week in a 4cyl Camry. Getting back in the LS was like taking off in a learjet!
Nothing like being separated from it for a while and driving something else to appreciate what a special car the LS really is...
Just thought I'd share...

That's how I felt about my GS after spending a couple hours in an NX300h while my GS was at the dealer

I've had the NX too as loaners, not a huge fan there either...

I rode in my buddy's 2016 ES while I was driving the Camry, and its a whole lot nicer and better riding than the Camry.
I was surprised how firm and loud the Camry was...

Exact same feeling I get after driving the ES or IS loaners for a couple days. The feel of the seats alone make me smile when I first sit down after a few days in the loaner.

I've experienced the same feeling quite a few times with loaner cars, but the one that really stands out to me was the time I felt a huge difference just between two trim extremes on the same vehicle. I have a BMW 340i M-Sport with nearly every option -- obviously the big engine, the high end leather, the nice steering wheel, upgraded gauge cluster, etc. One time I got the other end of the spectrum as a loaner -- a stripper 320i with none of those things. The thing felt like a cheap Corolla by comparison. Anemic 4 cylinder, plasticky "leather", nothing felt special and a lot of things felt like the bean counters got at it. Even the gear selector wasn't as nice. I was amazed at how different a vehicle in the same line could feel just because of options.

Drove a 19 ES350 loaner around all day today while Palm Beach Lexus worked on my LS460. The ES350 was quite nice. The infotainment system was excellent, seats comfortable, and the ride was fairly smooth. Still happy to be back in my LS though.
