It's good to hear that some progress is being made. The point about asking about Geico's reserve was not really to learn what it is, but rather to indicate to them that you know a little about the process.
Did the police report indicate the insurance carrier for the responsible party?

Forgot to mentioned earlier that I got a voicemail from other insurance company. They want to take my statement. I haven't called them back.
Simple google search indicated I shouldn't call them and not required to by law. There is already a police report and my claim is through Geico. I will call only if and when it is needed.

Finally a good update to report.
First of all, Thank you all very much for your support, encouragement, and advice.
I didn't call Geico since last communication but I logged into my account today and see the new updated settlement amount. I think it is very fair at $19.6K plus taxes.
Patience paid off.
Now I need to give them the title before I get paid.
Started looking for a replacement vehicle but not sure what I will buy. LS/GX/LX are on table. I am not a in a hurry.

I just read this thread - not surprising that adjusters will force you into the waiting game for an appropriate payment. Most people are not in a position to wait and will cave on early offers. Sad, but the insurance companies are just playing the odds and making their money. Glad you were able to hold out.

Yeah, thanks. The other insurance company has claimed it is my fault. My insurance company has concluded it is not my fault. Now they are going to go through arbitration. This will potentially drag for months.
Thanks to the advise from this forum that I went through my own insurance company. Can't even imagine what I would have been dealing with if I had been talking to the other insurance company.
Bought front and back cameras for others cars. You all should consider it too. They are about $40/set. Not great resolution but enough to prove that it is not your fault(provided it actually isn't otherwise not a good idea. Haha). It can't help existing claim but lesson learned.

I finally got a closure on this claim 100% in favor. I was worried if the arbitration was going to make me share blame for no fault of mine but glad with the end result.
I was losing faith in the system and now I have front and back cameras on all of my vehicles.
