Just noticed there is a place to hold "something" on the inside of the glove box door. What am I missing here?

I think it's pen holder, but these probably did not come with a pen.

Its for a pen, they didnt come with a pen. I use it to hold a tire pressure gauge.

it is not a pen.... it was supposed to have come with a torch light pen

I bought both of my LS460s brand new, neither one came with anything in that slot, and those clips are not big enough to hold a torch light pen (nor did the car come with a torch light pen anywhere). A pen fits perfectly in those clips and that's clearly what they're for.

Of all my cars. the 2008 LS460 had a Lexus branded pen, the 2012, 2014 and 2017 did not.

Same here. I have a tire air pressure gauge there.

It is suppose to be a pen holder, but one can use it for whatever they want including a tire pressure gauge.
