Like, here's their top 10 quietest cars at 100 km/h:
1. 2010 Mercedes E 63 AMG
2. 2010 Dodge Ram 5.7 V8
3. 2010 Acura TL 3.7 V6
4. 2014 Lexus GS 300h
5. 2010 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT
6. 2008 Lexus LS 600h
7. 2011 Kia Sorento EX V6
8. 2011 Kia Sorento V6
9. 2016 Mercedes S 500e
10. 2014 Rolls Royce Wraith 6.6 V12

E63 AMG? Dodge Ram pickup? Subary Legacy? GS300h ahead of LS600h? Kia Sorento?

I also wonder how the idle noise of a Tesla Model S can be higher than that of many ICE vehicles...

I might be jumping the gun, but I wouldn't be surprised if the new G90 is more isolated than the LS 460 & 500.

I use alex on autos decibel measurements with a grain of salt. With that being said the 19 ES @ 50mph got 69db and the Kia cadenza got 68.5db @50mph and Rlx got 68db.
Ive driven the G90 several times, it’s as quiet but not quieter. Like I said, this car is about as quiet as a car can get...

The LS500 isn’t as quiet as either the 460 or the G90.

Looks like the LS400, maybe you should check there.

When the light shows up, stop by a local auto parts place, most of them have a code reader that you can check the code. Check the code, find out what it is, and do some research.

If your not exactly sure how to take care of this, bring it someplace to have it checked out.

The LS460 is a very quiet car, but my old LS430 was definitely quieter.

If that’s the case, something isn’t right with your LS460. The only thing that should be louder on the 460 is the engine. Going down the road the 460 should be just as quiet or quieter.

I'm looking for a quiet AWD vehicle. I really wanted to get the LS400/LS430 especially to save $ but I want to have AWD for the snow. How does the LS460 noise level compare to the LS430 and LS400?

The 96 ls400 I had was like a tractor compared to my 13 460 awd, like onions and peaches.

I thought the LS 400 was the quietest interesting. This will be my first car so I may just suffer with the RWD or get another Lexus if anyone recommends one.
