I just purchased a 2012 LS 460. I've tried to figure out how to get my iPhone 8 to play music, podcasts, etc., through my stereo. It seems to recognize the phone, accept the contact list, etc., but I'm not able to play music. Is there a certain trick to this? Thanks in advance!
Congrats on your recent LS purchase! Hope you are already enjoying the smooth and quiet ride.
It looks like you have Bluetooth set up correctly for the Phone connection but not the Audio connection. You have to also configure the BT settings in the Audio menu before you can play music. Please refer to pages 460-469 in your owners manual for detailed instructions to set up BT audio.
