They were fairly affordable also being that there was an oversupply of mats for the 2007-2012 models. I was able to get a new set off ebay two months ago for $70 shipped. I'll keep my eye off another set as a spare. I was also able to purchase the rear trunk mat for $55 shipped from amazon for the ultra luxury package that has a smaller trunk.

how durable have they been. If your looking for a spare, kinda makes me think they won’t last to long.

thanks for your input. It was very helpful.

Just wanna make sure they will last long enough to make it a worthwhile purchase.

you have any pics?

I had another set in a different vehicle. Used them for 2 years. They held up fine. they’re softer mats. I prefer them over weathertechs (even though I’m sure weathertechs will outlast them) bc your feet doesn’t slide around as much.

I could do pics but YouTube will have much more close up videos

The seven foot difference isn't even noticeable from the pictures!

I know the wire harness is different. I have to look if I have the correct t one. If I don’t, what’s the best way to locate one?

once the data controller is in, I’ll put back my 22” wheels and tires. Then it’ll go for fender work. I have aggressive offsets. 20 on the front and 33 on the rear. The wheels are XO Luxury New York. My 08’ is on their site.

What aftermarket floor liners are you using? I am not finding any from Weathertech (RWD) or 3D Maxpider. I don’t like the all weather Lexus ones.

Nice and congrats on your new acquisition... This is also my next move.... We stay LS for Life !!!!

Installed the lowering module from the 08’. It works fine. The speed cable doesn’t not plug in.

Paint correction yesterday

wash
clay bar
chemical guys:
32 compound with course pad
32 compound with medium pad
38 polish with finishing pad
hydro ceramic coating

installed 22” wheels (fender work set for Friday)
Ceramic coated the wheel barrel.

pics are hard to tell the results however the minor scratches and paint depth and clarity was accomplished. Also the “rough” feel is gone.

I need to ceramic coat my wheels as well. I shouldn’t have rushed to put them in. Now it’s a pain to clean and do them.

So through some incompetence of local wheel shops in my area, I learned the following from @CJITTY .

2008 and 2015 have the same frequency for the tpms, this it should be easy to update the codes since I kept my wheels from the 08 and didn’t take the sensors out.

since I want my oem 19” and aftermarket 22” wheels to work, I am buying programmable sensors and a device to do it myself. All for about $185. (Not Installation of sensors)

Basically, our car can only store 5 codes. (Spare is the 5th code).

if I am going to ever put the stock on for whatever reason, I want the sensors to also work.

they will be here tomorrow and I’ll have them changed out this weekend. (put the 08’ sensors back on tue prior ride).

I would buy the OEM sensor and use my Autel MAXITPMS scanner to program them. The unit can write the sensor directly to the vehicle via OBDII

That eight-footer was a bit short on legroom, though.

It sucks that you have to snap the clips.
I wonder if putting a grommet in Maxspider is possible so as to not snap the clips.

You could cut a big hole and position where the grommet should be and use a grommet sleeve. You’ll end up having 4 holes on each floor mat though

so very easy to do. I marked the sensors location but I either marked them incorrectly or they installed them in the wrong locations. At least this is the theory for now.

somethiny to note...these sensors can’t be programmed with air in the tire per their tech.

so the sensors are in and reading. I’ll reclone them in them in their correct locations.

alignment was done on setting 3.

also got new spline lugs for her.
