The toyota part numbers don't actually match what is on the BCM. A RHD and LHD bcm could have the same part number sticker on it, but are programmed differently depending on what country it went to. Also RHD and LHD share the same part number, but the BCM will always be on the driver side no matter which side the steering wheel is on.
I should start a new thread but heck it prob wont receive any attention, swapping the BCM or the fuse box thingy near the drivers side will solve my F to C deg problem. great... i was wondering If I swap out the gauges and meters, is it going to show the mileage of the prevous car or is it going to automatically calibrate to my mileage? ALK any idea? thanks
Ok, received my main fuse box from the UK. Part number 82730-50510-A, VIN JTHBL46F90502418.
My remote now opens the trunk.
The only problem now is that the trunk doesn't "beep" while opening/closing and the car doesn't "beep" when I lock/unlock the doors with the FOB. It beeps with the original BCM, and I checked tech stream with the new BCM and any customization settings, still no beeping. **Edit/Update no beeping function enabled on Europe/China BCMs.
1) Rear fog lights work with the switch
2) All HVAC is in Celcius
I think the answer back ( buzzer ) is not enabled in Europe and China. Put the door mirrors on auto to remove any doubt in locking and unlocking . I guess you are the first person ever in the NA , That successfully added rear fog lights. Congrats.
I'm going to look into running this second BCM as a secondary slave unit, if possible. Then it will only be used to activate the rear fog while the original BCM will manage everything else as normal.

ALK OR lilevo maybe you can help, I changed the body ECU today. Temperature to Celsius which is great, so far there are 2 problems. My driver side window switches..the button that controls my windows has lost the auto function you need to hold it to move it up or down, the button that controls the passenger window does not work my window will move if I use it, all other windows work fine including the window button at the front passenger door. I tried moving my window all the way up and down, no dice.
also I have my windows to auto and they fold when I close or lock the door… it’s doing weird things like the motor starts clicking in place the glass itself not the folding part. I guess it could be because the controls for that was disconnected … but I disconnected the battery before I did anything any idea how to fix or how I can do a reset for this body ecu ?
guys help !!!! lol need some idea on how to proceed or what to check... on another note.. I have not changed the stalk to the one with the rear fogs... yet.... but for the moment I can report that it is possible to have the front fogs on without the headlights being on.... for those that already have the stalk with rear fogs... is that the also the case for you?

the issue is someone once posted part numbers for the body ECU off sone webpage or something is that for 460 or 600.
My body ecu model number is nothing anyone on this thread has mentioned before: 82730-50150
And the one I bought is 82730-50470.

if you enter my vin and put it the part number of my actual body ecu it doesn’t even show up, what shows up as my body ecu part number is different from what I have…
so someone needs to educate me on what part numbers to try next
