Success, but at what cost... Come to think of it, I'm the last person on these forums who should be saying that.

Then that's really strange. My driver window went up and down with both the driver and passenger switch buttons. The driver button didn't work with the auto up down. The passenger button (also controlling the driver window auto function worked up and down). I couldn't control the passenger side window at all.

Reverse bulbs should be the same between both housings. 90981-11059

Part numbers are all in the video description

European Rear Fog light wiper stalk:84140-50130
Left Inner tail lamp with rear fog: 81591-50160
Right Inner tail lamp with rear fog: 81581-50160

my window malfunctions is the same as yours I think - for the switches located on the drivers door- drivers window goes up and down but no auto, the passenger switch on that panel either does nothing or only controls drivers window, the switch located on the passenger door works normally.

and the mirror controls are switched left to right and does weird clacking and stuff when you turn on the car. Trying to move the mirror itself to the extreme so it starts clacking so who can say if it’s really a LHD.

i was not referring to part numbers but rather standard size references if you happen to know … 7440 or 921 T5 or T10 etc

and if you could type part of the wireless function so I can see what’s similar out there.

thanks again

You have a RHD with the part number I need, could be waste of time but it might not be LHD/RHD specific.

ok so i the parts guy i am buying a RHD version of the same model as mine says that in this instance LHD and RHD has no bearing on functionality so in theory if the model number matches the original we should be good to go.

Can't go by the sticker on the BCM. My RHD EU box is the same as my LHD US one. 82730-50150-A

i know that… so you are saying your part numbers match and yours is a RHD version right and you had all the errors you mentioned… ok so I guess that’s not going to work and I’ll have to send it back he was saying it will work not since it didn’t for you I don’t see how it would for me

ok I am not one to give up, I am not an expert at reading electrical wiring diagrams so please correct me if I am way off base... So I am including file RFL someone posted here before and a more complete version of TL which does not show the rear fogs. Ok so if you look at the rear junction box... I assume for example when there is a number and a wire coming out of it... it refers to the pin correct? so if that is even remotely correct.. it should be STP3 which is pin 4... (which does not exist (or it may) on non rear fog equipped.... as referenced in file TL.) so pin 4 connects to pin 4 in a S55 connector, pin 5 goes to the Left rear fog pin 1, pin 6 goes to the Right rear fog pin 1 etc.... so I think it would be worth checking, if these wires exist in the loom of US cars.. I would assume they do but who knows...

AND I might be blind but in file RFL there is no mention whatsoever for the front body ecu under the steering wheel, I could be wrong but the correct switches and instrument panel should (if the wires exist) connect to the rear body ECU....

it would take a better electrician than me to read and make sense of the diagrams.

I believe it goes headlight switch > front body ecu > rear junction box > rear fog lights.

The rear fog lights worked fine with the European front body ecu installed and no other changes for me. Something is done in the front body ecu to activate them and send the signal to the rear.

oh did you actually get it to work the way it is supposed to? I thought you or someone else wired some wireless switches to them. So did you get a RHD or LHD European body ecu? I assume it is LHD? coz the RHD will cause all the errors with the switches right?

No, I never found an LHD Euro body ecu to try it. I just did the wireless switch. The trunk fuse box is the same for US and Euro cars so that doesn't need to be touched.
