Just noticed this today on the bottom of both front doors of my 2013. I will rip it out if this is leftover plastic wrap that protected the doors when the car rolled off the assembly line or carefully cut this off if this plastic somehow lines the interior of the door.

Does anyone know anything about this plastic?

Just tear it off it's left over plastic.

Thank you. Just pulled it out and it came out fairly easily. Definitely remnants of the new car wrap as the piece inside the door was a straight edge so it certainly wasn’t attached to a larger piece.
