Default Does anyone here in this forum know the location of this cam position sensor?

Thanks in advance for anyone that can offer some advice in this case. I'm looking for bank 2 cam position sensor b. I am able to locate the main composition sensor on bank 2 at the top of the valve cover in the front near the air intake. , but I am unsure. Which position to troubleshoot? As it relates to the case in the attached pic. I don't have an FSM for the ls460, and I'm thinking this may be one of the vvt sensors.. but not sure.

Hope this helps, you have to test the connector.
The second file is the ECM which is where you can test the connections.

Anyone with a FSM know a diagram of the cam/vvt sensors so I can zero in on this test?

thanks, sha400! I assume I set my voltmeter to VOLTAGE- 20, BLACK LEAD to neg terminal and RED LEAD to the specified ports. As long as the ecu output is 4.7+ volts, I can exclude the ECU as the culprit?

Set the voltmeter to 12V and I'm no electrical expert but I assume you test the voltage across the pins by backprobing the connections. The second test is a bit more difficult since you you need to get the probes in place and the turn the crankshaft pulley by hand a watch to make sure the voltage changes btw the Hi and Low range.
