Default New Arrival

Hi friends. I've been reading, researching and looking for several months. Purchased 2013 LS 460 SWB. 57k miles. Pearl White/Black. ML, UL pkg, semi-aniline/alcantara, LED head lights, Air suspension, etc. In cream puff condition but needs tires. Paid an independent shop to test drive and examine. Worth the time and money to do that for peace of mind. Paid under $27K when most dealer listings were $30-33K. This private seller wasn't under pressure to sell quickly and was a pleasure to deal with over two days. Drove it from San Clemente to San Diego. As nice as I remember my old LS riding. I'll get some photos added to this thread tomorrow.
Doing the research/detective work really pays off. Lexus drivers and carfax show a lot of cross checkable info.

Congrats, SWFLA!! You are in for a treat with many many miles and years of driving pleasure!

Looking forward to seeing the pictures. SWB with UL package is rare. Looks like you got a great deal for 27K for a fairly low mileage car.

good luck it sounds like a great car

a lot of buyers don't understand sometimes you bond or create a relationship with a seller that has money and they sell it cheaper than they normally would to have a good owner enjoy the ride
kudos great purchase

Here's a few quick shots. The windows were tinted professionally. The car lived in Vegas for a few years and the tinting helps with the heat and sun damage. I used to live in FL and tint was on everyone's car. Now to swap over my dashcam, radar detector, personal items. Will hook up Carista and customize my personal settings as well. Fat owners manual for some light reading as well. The detailed engineering that goes into every part on the car is impressive.

If I were doing a lot of highway driving, I'd miss the LKS and the Radar Assist Cruise Control.

It's so hard to get one with LKA and radar cruise.
It's weird that on the lower end new ES350 have it

Very unique car.
Great color combo.
First time I have seen UL on SWB.
First time I have seen 15 spoke wheels on RWD car. Previously I have always seen 7 spoke split on RWD and 15 spoke on AWD.
Great price to boot. Yes, research helps and when it it time to act one needs to be ready.
Congratulations again!

Sat in the back seat today for a 5 minute heated seat massage! I really miss panoramic view cameras that my Benz GLK had. I"m guessing that's pretty rare in Lexus. I've seen the RX with them but not much else. Maybe all the goodies will become standard one day.

I've gone over all the filters: engine, and two cabin locations. Haven't gotten under the front seats yet. New tires today. Sterted to clay the paint and realized that it had already been done by previous owner. Thanks. Putting on my favorite sealer Rejex. Car is so well maintained but was surprised at how dirty the drivers seat surface was. I use Griots leather care spray, it does a mild clean and protect. I realize that semi-aniline leather is coated with surface sealer and most any cleaner would do the job. I like the feel and fragrance left behind as well as ease of use.
