Default Car Wax

I just brought a used 2010 LS460 with a Beautiful Finish

So I am wondering what is the best car wax to wax my LS460 to protect the car's finish?

here's some info for you,

most important is after the wash, the car is prepped properly
so before wash hose car with iron x from car pro
after car wash two bucket method preferred,

clay lube and clay bar car or clay mitt with clay lube.

dry off car

wipe down with IPA solution or car pro eraser

then
apply a good carnauba like Pinnacle Souveragn, great wax but expensive
look at pan the organizer videos for best of 2019 products, angel makes a good wax as well

for a sealant, Wolfgang has a great sealant on autogeek website

Adams sells a ceramic wax paste that's excellent for sealing and longevity with shine

or pick up Cquartz lite ceramic coating

follow all the steps above
but after the car is clayed, use a buffer with a compound polish like Sonar perfect finish before the IPA or car pro eraser

if you choose the ceramic coating after it sits for an hour, Car pro reload goes on top to protect the coating in case it rains..

For the easiest solution with good results
Meguiars makes a good ultimate wax synthetic
and so doe turtle wax believe it or not

on Youtube watch Apex Detail videos on all products above

cheers good luck

I'm going to assume that the only detail equipment you have is a bucket and maybe some rags
I highly recommend Klasse All in on acrylic coating. After you thoroughly wash your car and dry it, simply apply this with a damp rung out microfiber cloth. Use small amounts and spread evenly. Wait a minute or 2 and wipe off. Use on your rims, headlights anywhere you want to add protection. After your are done you can enhance the look by adding some spray wax (Meguiars, Eagle one, Mothers) in top of it to maintain protection.

Acrylic is the Solution. Acrylic is different than wax, silicones, and polymers. This polish will bond to your car’s surface just like the previously mentioned treatments, but it will not cause any change to your paint, and you don’t have to worry about drying time. Klasse All In One dries as fast as you apply it, and there is no risk of hazing or streaking. All-In-One contains no abrasives or silicones, and does not stain plastic, vinyl or rubber trim. It can be used on any non-porous surface, and in addition to car care it is also approved for marine and aviation use

Ceramic coat is best, have the paint corrected first and any chips repaired

Which Ceramic coat is recommended for DIY? Less work is preferred even if it is not the best out there.

Klasse is not a coating, it’s a sealant.

I'm planning to have this done sometime this Spring.

Here's what my detail guy has to say about this:
cQuartz is quite good, especially their UK formulation. cQuartz UK and Optimum Gloss-Coat are the two coatings I recommend to DIYers. If you want us to install the coating for you, I'd highly recommend either IGL Poly (comparable to cQuartz) or IGL Kenzo (top-of-the-line protection). They require training and certification to install, but tend to outperform their retail counterparts.

the key to ceramics is all the prep work

claying
buffing, polishing
with dual action polisher

alcohol prep wipe down
then the ceramic
then reload silica spray to protect against rain on ceramic
it took 7 hours for my ls460 6 and half hours prep and a half hour to ceramic coat
