Hey
I can't figure out how to jack up my LS safely because of Air suspension, normaly it is a jack mode. I don't want to damage the struts, any ideas?
thanks.

Put the car in service mode then disconnect the power to be safe, a S class almost killed me after 3 hours in service mode since it decided it would right then like to try and relevel itself when I was trying to preload the suspension in the front.

Locks the air shocks into "open" valve mode to allow you to compress and move the suspension like a traditional spring car and sets the computer to ignore any ride height sensor inputs and requests for leveling. Some cars also deflate the shocks all the way then set the valve open so the suspension has zero resistance but that mode can only be selected on a lift since the car will not be able to bear its own weight at all, not sure if Lexus has that one but I know merc, BMW, Audi, and rover does

What year model is your LS. Jack mode? To change a tire or jack up your LS? I've never heard of a jack mode for air suspension on any LS or read about it in my manual. This feature must be on foreign models.

There is no jack mode. Just don;t turn the car on when you jack it up. If you do turn it on then when you put it back down the car will be lowered to the floor and you will not be able to pull the jack out from underneath. You will have to turn the car back on to get the bags to air up.
