2010 LS460 NAVI issues tracking, location, etc
I just got my 2010 LS back from the dealer where they removed the NAVI to do other work. On top of a bunch of other damage they decided to do to the interior my NAV unit now decided that I am out in the ocean chasing fish instead of on a public road. When i am traveling south the unit tracks east, puts my gps location over water or in between streets, etc.
My first thought is to tear into the back side of the unit and check to see that everything is seated or if any wire is damaged. However before I waste two hours of my life I wanted to know if anyone has experienced this issue and if there isnt something else i should be doing like some sort of calibration or reset.
Thanks all

Look in your manual and If memory is correct there is a setting for general geographic area. This is used to set to the proper satellite. I also think there is a calibration process that requires driving in circles.

Thanks Rick thats exactly what i needed to do. Was expecting a much larger issue since i never had that happen after disconnecting the battery or removing the navi in the past.
Setup->Navi->Detailed Navi settings->Calibration
once the direction and location are manually changed to be close enough, the navi will lock to the road once driving.
