Default Sway bar links

Has anyone had their sway bar links replaced and how much were you charged? I have a 2008 ls and was quoted $442 by my local Lexus dealer. Debating whether to go to Toyota dealer or independent mechanic

Crazy! I did mine with OEM parts. If you have basic tools and a jack with stands. You can do it. You can also replace the sway bar bushings too. All doable.

OEM links are like $92 x 2= $180. They are basically charging you 2 hours labor for a job that should only take them 15 minutes to do on a lift. I bought links off Ebay when I was doing the lower control arms.https://www.ebay.com/itm/Front-Suspe...72.m2749.l2649
The links are a real basic part so there's no need to use OEM especially since hardly anyone is buying OEM controls plus the Ebay links have a nut on the bottom which makes it easier to install/remove. With The OEM links you have to use an allen key to keep the ball joint from moving while you use a wrench to turn the nut.
