It can be swapped without any customization. All you would need to do is unplug Air compressor.

I've done this years ago on my 05 LS430 Ultra lux that had Air Suspension.
Don't let Air Suspension deter you from buying the car you want.
I looked all across Canada parts stores and no one has a conversion kit for the LS460. Suspension parts aren't even sold in Canadian parts stores, and everything is imported from USA. Import fees, and shipping and such, it honestly would tack on 30% to the total cost just in parts. I have no idea how much it would cost to deliver something from the states as heavy as 2 air suspension pieces. Especially an entire conversion kit.

Sounds like a frightening aftermarket solution, how does the aftermarket ride compare to the stock ride quality?

Perhaps not in Canada though, but I bet they do.

Unfortunately, in Canada, there has only been 4 different trims available.
I suspect in the article that ONLY the RWD base model without F sport has a non-air suspension.
None of the AWD models display non-air suspension

Most people that buy this car don't get the most basic model, they normally go for the technology package or F sport package which both have the air suspension.
You owned a 2013-2017 model? I think they revamped the trims quite a bit for those years.

I've owned two 2013-2017 models, and still own a 2017. Non air cars are all over the place in the US. If anything in 13-17 models the air suspension is rare.
