Gosh, the '13+ has aged well...

If I got a 460 I'd just keep the 430, it has too much sentimental value for me to get rid of and they wouldn't give me enough on a trade.
I always liked the '13+, though more now than I did, and they just have aged like fine wine yet are still very bossy looking. Plus there's a powerful V8....

I've seen the 13+ with that painted divider in person and I don't care for it. I really like the contrast on my silver one.
Personally, I think the 13-17 car is much better looking than the older LS460s. Nothing against them, they're just really bland and the 13-17 looks much sharper and more modern. Inside its the same way, and the materials are better in the 13-17. A 13-17 you would mistake for a current design where the older models you wouldn't.

I disagree sir, the steering wheel, and nav system and electronics are a huge upgrade, but surprisingly, I don't miss them on my car I enjoy it that much.. the classiness and when I took photos of the 2010 vs a 13 both the front end and the rear are nicer pre 13, one mans humble opinion. and have to say sexy as ___ with windows down

For '13+ Lexus addressed this. The seats and wood trims were new, basically they fixed what needed to be fixed. The bamboo wood you could get in it is literally some of the most gorgeous wood I've ever seen in a car including cars costing 5 times as much. The also stunning shirkamiru (sp? lol) wood steering wheel took like 37 days to make, or something like that.

Its bit off topic, but would you buy a car that has a wrap on it? I think Id either offer like 20-30% less or ask that the wrap be removed before i actually buy the thing... who knows what hides below the wrap :P

I think the 13+ is a much better looking car. It has a little but of aggressiveness to it that the pre-refresh versions lacked IMO. I especially like the front end of the 13-17 F Sport. I have considered having that bumper and grill put on mine, if I ever had to replace my front bumper I probably would.
The materials in the LS500 are even better, but like you said the cabin is much tighter feeling.

If you had a 13+ you'd be signing a different tune lol.

He's talking about the refresh car, not the LS500. The 13-17 460 has improved materials, fully stitched lower dash and door panels on all models, better leathers, wood trims were better with more modern options like matte finishes, bamboo an shimamoku engineered trims, displays are improved. Plastic metal look trim is replaced with real metal trim. Metal analog clock vs digital clock. Just takes the whole interior up a notch.

People like what they have is my point.
In any event, this is a thread started by someone who posted that they like how the 13-17 has aged. Doesn’t have to be a forum for you guys who don’t prefer it. You can start your own thread for that.

There both great cars and the late model years aged extremely well.

its true the 13 and up has more straight lines but the new camry 2020 just looks even more aggressive which in turn tones down the looks of the much less common LS, to just "classy" it looked agressive back in 2012 when no other cars looked like that, now all the other brands are exagerating this style to the point something else will have to surface.

They're all great cars, but whenever someone discusses the 13-17 car people always come along and turn it into a competition between various versions of the car. Its not unlike what happens whenever the LS430 comes up. Its annoying. Complaining about the spindle grill gets so old, its been around for 8 years already.

What I said was it "has a little bit of aggressiveness"

I would certainly agree the 13-17 LS460 is the best looking lexus of them all generations with the exception of the new LS500, LS400 was a great looking car as well.
I owned LS400, LS430 and now 13 LS460 F-sport.

Which year was your LS400? Mine was a 98.
