I was looking up recalls for my 2010 LS460L and found these two. Does anyone know if you can still get these taken care of today. I was doing a U-turn about two weeks ago and felt the steering wheel almost feel disconnected, turning slower then the actual car but it eventually straightened it’s self out and has not done it since.
Actually Dave a recall can expire under certain circumstances, but I think there are exceptions for safety issues. There was a thread on here years ago where we discussed recalls.
Roshko, I agree with Dave, I would definitely take the car into the dealer and get that done.
Okay thanks everyone. I will call my dealer today. Another thing to note is my car was built in July, 2010 while the recall was May 2010. I wonder if this matters. On the Lexus drivers website it said there were no recalls for my car.

When you call them, ask if there are any current or past recalls or service campaigns for your car. They'll look it up and let you know. Also, if you haven't already, head to the Lexus Owners Site, type in your vin and see all services done (at a Lexus dealership).

This car was taken to the same dealer in Mass from brand new up to 170k miles, every 5 thousand miles. I would be surprised if it was under the recall and not replaced.
