It looks like mission impossible under the seat. Can hardly access anything there. My thoughts was that the plug has dislodged or a dry connection. But can't figure out yet how to take the seat out, or get to the plugs.

yes, positively nothing happens - completely dead. What makes me believe it’s a dry joint / loose connector is that came on once when I moved the seat to an unusually very low and flat position.

PS. I have another problem - my rain sensor won’t activate the windscreen wipers and the wipers won’t work on the intermittent setting, which is rather annoying in a soft drizzle and traffic.

I figured out my problem. The rear heat plugs were disconnected. Who ever at Lexus dealer worked on the car forgot to connect the heat element plugs back in. I was changing the rear air suspension and had to remove the rear seats. Once I did I saw it was disconnected. Once I plugged back in everything worked. And once I replaced the air suspension I traded the car in for a new Camry. The LS for me was starting to be a money pit of never ending problems. Hope that helps someone.

Hi Dejo85,
Did you ever solve the heated rear seats problem?
Mine are doing exactly the same thing.
Thanks

yes when I was replacing the rear air suspension I had to remove the rear seat and when I did I saw that someone didnt plug it, so I plugged it back in and it worked. And thats when I saw the major coolant leak in the engine and thats when I traded the LS460 for a New Toyota Camry. I miss the LS but the Camry is an amazing car and no more issues like the LS. Good luck.
