Exclamation Seat fitment question

Hello, y'all. I bought a 2007 LS 460L a few months back and it was my dream car for a few years. It's the best car I've ever owned and I've already done extensive maintenance since I've had it.
My driver's side seat is quite uncomfortable due to some unfortunate mishaps and I'm interested in swapping both front seats out for 2013 model F sport seats.
Does anyone know if this is a bolt in mod, or would require modifications? I'm interested to find if the seat bolt pattern is the same and the electrical connections.

I’m interested to know the outcome as well.

side story; although the 1995 and 1996 LS400 were essentially identical cars, Lexus wired the seats differently for some inexplicable reason. I learned this the hard way after attempting to install a 1996 junkyard seat into a 1995 LS400. The connectors were the same but the wiring was pin incompatible. I did manage to make it function after swapping some pins around but the learning process was unpleasant.
the 2007 and 2013-up cars have even more model year difference than that, so I would be amazed if the seats were interchangeable. Certainly with seat airbags now being involved, things become even more complex.

I called a few dealerships and all they could tell me is that the part number is different after 2009.
One of the parts guys thought that it should fit, but he couldn't confirm if the bolt pattern was the same.

If anyone has done this in the past, I'd really appreciate knowing the process before I jump the gun and end up with some nice floor seats haha.

VagueD - Once upon a time, in a galaxy far far away, I used to be an automotive seat Jedi (engineer). I used to do seat design for a company called … Toyota. Does that make me an expert? Meh, naw.

But I will hazard to say this much: As far as the seat bolt holes, the locations should be the same. I think the chances of the location changing to be near 0.

As far as electrical … if the seats you will install have all the same motions, I think the chances of the pin-outs changing are close to 0.

There may be 2 problems. Proximity to the floor, or some accessory off the floor. As well as some slight structure change to the bottom area of the seats. That's one. And 2nd, proximity to the floor console. The 13's changed things with that minor model change. But likely they kept the same envelop on the seats and floor console.

I did some changing to the bottom of the Camry seat myself. I reversed the logic of a proximity bracket and sensor, making the bracket much smaller and hidden up under the seat. But such a change would not likely make said Camry new seat not fit in an older vehicle of the same generation. I didn't do the LS seat design, but I hazard to guess it is a frame we called SK4. Which was an acronym for a Japanese name, not sure of the spelling but it was "Shinkokakku." No need to explain all that.

In any event, I'm guessing your likelihood for retrofitting a newer seat in there successfully to be 90%.

There was a service policy in the early days of the LS460 to replace the driver's seat cushion due to customer dissatisfaction with the seat comfort. You may be able to just replace the cushion rather than going to the trouble and expense of buying entire seats.

Is this only with the 2007-2012 LS460?
