Default The Brake Actuator

Hi all,

07 460 with 126k, is it "inevitable" that one will have to replace the brake actuator on my 460? They will wear out and need replacing?
And if and when they do how much does it cost?

I am just trying to get some ideas for my future repair costs.

THANKS !

Around 800-1100 for the part and it will eventually fail, it's simply how the system works that the accumulators only hold pressure so long.

It's inevitable that every part will eventually fail, will it fail while you own it is the question. its a potential repair issue. We have members here over 200k miles with their original actuator. Dealer, $3-4,000. Independent mechanic, about $1,000-$1,200. Its not actually all that much labor
