Just amazing, thank you, Lexus
Hello, like many of us, the interior on my 2010 LS Sport has turned sticky and is deteriorating. My wonderful dealer in suburban Chicago, apologized, ordered replacement parts which arrived in under a month, and will be installed tomorrow under warranty.
This is a phenomenal accommodation. I’m just shocked that the manufacturer is so focused on customer satisfaction that rather than turn an indifferent eye, and make excuses, it is funding thousands of cars with expensive improved replacement parts and labor.
I’ve just never experienced a more favorable response to an issue from any automaker, thank you, Lexus. I’m so happy.

Which dealership did you go to? If it’s close enough, I might go to them to ask them to do the interior work on my 2010.

Yes I certainly agree Lexus is doing the right thing on these interiors. You will be astounded at the difference. From what I understand, Lexus is going after the original vendor who supplied the inferior product to all those interiors.

I am one of the very lucky ones. My dealer in Macon, GA performed their job magnificently from the very first visit to the very end. Although my LS qualified for all of the parts reflected on the mail-out as pertaining to my year model, additional parts were installed which I did not expect since no deterioration was apparent such as the center console lid and the steering wheel center. Further, my car always had a moderate amount of wind noise from the driver and passenger windows. In the past, I dealt with this by tapping the window down a fraction of an inch. Now, after the door panel installation which was completed 3/20, no wind noise is detected regardless of whether my speed is 60 or 85 mph. I can see that there is a very snug fit for the door panel and new dash when the door is closed to the extent they actually touch which may have the effect of sealing the window with the rubber seal. I have not attempted to evaluate this but am curious if other LS owners have made this observation since completion of the warranty enhancement regarding the melting door panels/dash.
