I keep my head on a swivel when I’m in Walmart. That’s where crazy people show up and start shooting! I too, also use the quick lube, auto entrance and exit due to the smaller parking area! I don’t chance the possibility of getting sideswiped/ hit in the large parking lot. Since Covid started, that entrance has been closed! They are suppose to open it back up at the start of September!

Are Lexus LS460s not common in your area? In my area they really are not expensive cars at all. I am betting it is where you parked more than the car. I don't really think most buy an LS because they look expensive. In fact I think many buy them because they are actually the most understated of the big sedans from luxury makers. Sure they are good looking cars but not the best and the pre-2012 to some may even be perceived as a little outdated and the 13+ some love and others hate the grill. I buy them for the reliability more than the public's perception of my net worth. Must not be many nice cars to gawk at in that area. With the amount of nice cars here the only people that would be looking at an LS is a true Lexus enthusiast plenty better to look at for normal car people.

Very rare here. Luxury cars in general are pretty rare. More of a pickup truck and Subaru kind of place. Believe me, besides being keyed, I've received plenty of hostile stares in the 2.5 years since I bought it.

When the economic fallout from the pandemic started, I felt guilty driving it and mostly drove my 2001 Acura TL. Even though it's (the LS) a 5 year old car, I'm sure it looks like a conspicuous display to some.

Yeah, I guess Tesla owners have it really bad. Lots of stories on the internet about them getting keyed, blocked in, etc.

This isn't leading to a productive discussion.
