I recently purchased my wife a new ES-350 and the dealership wanted $3800.00 for the extended warranty. I declined and called my favorite place to buy warranties. And YES, I personally wouldn't drive a LS around the block if it wasn't under warranty. Called Casey McCrew at Shreveport/Bossier City Lexus and I bought a 9 total yeas, (Five years past the 4 year factory warranty, and 100,000 miles, Lexus Platinum Warranty, $0 Deductible, and it covers everything the factory warranty covers. He charged me $2,125 Keep in mind that's for an ES. The LS will be a little higher, but I save 50% off my local dealer in Dallas. He's a great guy. Just give him your VIN# and mileage on your car and have a credit card handy. I've been buying extended Warranties from this dealership for years. They are as good as gold. Casey is the Finance Manager and eager to sell you a warranty CHEAP.
Called Toby earlier this year and got an unlimited miles 5 more years of warranty on top of CPO for under $2600... Toby must have left recently.
I bought it for a peace of mind and it is transferable too or cancel and get prorated refund.
