I have it on the guest app setting, it notifies me where it is and when its been started and all, it hasn't left their shop. This body shop is just really, really slow. They're actively working on it now, should have it back next week.

Anyways this shop is full of way better cars than mine, if they were joyriding it wouldn't be in mine lol

I traded my 2007 LS460 in two and a half years ago for a new 2018 Chevy Silverado - that truck has since been sold and I’m now driving a 2016 Toyota Avalon (which I absolutely love). The Silverado just wasn’t high quality enough for me to justify the price...misfires, starter went bad, Chevy shake, oil consumption, frame rust, cheap paint...and that was BEFORE all the other KNOWN issues those trucks have started to crop up (AC condensers, collapsed lifters, torque converters, failed injectors). At 50,000 miles the thing just couldn’t drive right, the engine just couldn’t make it up simple hills on the highway or speed changes without stuttering and acting up. Dealer was no help.

But I do miss my LS460. Loved that car! I still pop in here once or twice a week because I love talking cars and I loved the 460. And the Avalon forums is a total and complete bore, a total waste of time. No one posts there, the cars don’t break, there is really nothing to talk about.

My problem with the Avalon is that it’s like driving a nice appliance. It’s not engaging at all. No driving pleasure. Although I’m talking about the first generation here, maybe the 2016 model has more driving excitement.

The Avalon is basically the ES. Its a very competent, comfortable car, its not as dynamic nor does it feel as substantial or refined as the LS. But, if you're driving a ton of commuting miles like he is, its a great car for that because its not nearly as expensive to maintain as the LS.

I totaled mine in 2016 in the infamous Vegas crash. Still pop in here frequently. Currently looking at new cars for the wife. She does a ton of highway miles, so I'm looking at a 2019 ES, Avalon, or something else similar.
