Hey guys, new to the club here. I got a 2008 LS600hL fully-loaded with executive rear seat package here and there's something wrong with her.
Since spring this year an unrecognized sound came out from the rear-left of the vehicle during acceleration from stationary, went away as soon as speed is above 40km/h or pressure removed from acceleration paddle.
I had the vehicle checked both by the dealer, auto shop, and an engineering friend but all of them believe the vehicle is fine. But the thing is I’ve been seating on this car for 12-years now and I don't think it is normal for this sound just came out from nowhere. The video is attached below.
Desperate for any guess thoughts and suggestions. Regards.

Edit: If your hole is on top of your muffler like mine it's hard to spot so you need to stretch your hand on top of the muffler to feel it.

You live in Ontario ? Sound like a rust hole in one of your muffler. Took some time to self diagnose mine but it sounded like that.

question for yagami: Can you recreate the noise when the car isn’t moving? Perhaps by pressing the brake and gas at the same time when the car is in drive?

Sorry for the late reply mate, lost my login password and just retrieved it.
Yes, I do live in Ontario. Before I could conduct a more comprehensive diagnostic, I accidentally hit the curb with the left muffler while backing up. Originally I thought great now I probably have to replace the whole thing, but the best part was that the noise is gone after the impact.
So I guess everything is good now hahaha

No, that noise won’t come out while idling.
I accidentally have that noise problem solved after hitting a curb with the left muffler while backing up. It was kind of hilarious
