Question Armstrong PSB vs FeBest which one should i chose?

Hi, i want to change the bushings all the 10s on my LS2008
and i searched a lot regarding which aftermarket bushings should i pick. 2 famous brands Armstrong PSB and febest
price is almost the same. but what about reliability? which one last longer? road quality in my town is bad a lot of bumps, holes. i want something last longer and can handle. thank you

Using Armstrong cost me almost $900

$200 bushings, $600 for labour , $100 for alignment

The failed in 2 months

They would not refund me the money, rather made me wait 4 months for a replacement

I bought back arnley control arms and tried to forget the whole thing

I've got Febest your control arms that I installed about 50k miles ago and they are doing fine. I see a slight crack on 1 bushing but nothing major. The car rides great. I also have A1auto lower control arms that I installed last October and have about 20k miles on them. They came worth a life time warranty and since I do my own labor that's fine with me. The drivers side has a slight crack in it already but again nothing major. Since the slight cracks for the upper and lower are on the drivers side I'm wondering if the lower ball joint in the knuckle is a contributing factor since it has a tear in the boot that I noticed last year. I have 2 new Febest ball joints that I need to find the time to install.

Hi dude. Thanks for the reply, im also planning to do the labor my self. I watched many videos and i believe I've all the tools that i need except the bushings press tool. Do you press your own in home or you take them to a workshop to press it for you. If you press in home which tool you are using. Thanks again man

I bought the whole arms because I did not really want to deal with trying to press in the bushings. I'm glad I did because the ball joint on all the control arms were no good. I could move them all with my fingers.

Hey guys , i created this thread a while ago to show people that alot of the name brand control arms, are actually the same as the no name brands, they are just reboxing them.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...trol-arms.html

We really dont have any great options for the control arms , it is a weak spot on these cars.

Regarding the beck arnley control arms i used,(just rebranded chinese made arms) they were not expensive and seem to be decent quality, i only installed them about 2 months ago or so , so i cant comment on their longevity .

But if i could do it all over again i would not bother with replacing the the bushings unless i knew how to do the work myself, swapping the control arms seems to be the most economical way to go about it.
