I had a '09 LS and had 2 major problems.
1) The dash and arm rests have a composite material defect. In warm to hot weather they become sticky. Lexus LS 2007- 2010 were affected as I understand it.Lexus covered most but don't know if they still are or not.
2)The other is control arms. Expensive to replace. I traded mine at 83,000 miles and got a 2014. Loved it but when Lexus annouced no more V8's in the LS I got a 2017 this last April. That's the last year a V8 was put in the LS.
150k is a lot of miles when you add in the above problems.
Try for a 2012 or newer. You'll love em.
