That makes sense. Based on the color being so dark, I want to get it back in sooner rather than later for the next round. I will wait at least a couple thousand miles so it mixes well and then get it back in.

thanks! That means my car only using 2 means it was under filled (or it wasn’t level to begin with).

how do you even change the filter ??? You’d have to remove all the surrounding 10mm bolts on that black tranny pan?

also, not too bad on the 4 quarts. I go and pick up directly from Toyota (buy online and picking up at parts is cheaper than going directly to their parts section) for $7.91 pretax per quart.

Yes the bolts have to come out. I haven't done it yet. Now, I need to see the fluid price at Toyota. That's a great price you got. Yes, I'm Jelly.....

I am about to the change the strainer too. I got OEM one and an OEM gasket kit from Ebay. It seems that on AWD, the exhaust needs to be removed to get access to some of pan bolts and properly torque then after re-assembly. I am planning on using stainless steel bolts and nuts as replacement.

Dang shipping kills the deal! Lol try going to Toyota website and doing an instore pickup. That was the cheapest option for me. It did take them 2-3 days before the product was ready for pickup though lol
