If you leave the seals stuck to the cover there is a good possibility they will rub off while you install the valve covers and fall into never never land.
When I did my left side cover I didn't realize this. The seals were stuck on very tight. After doing my other cover i realized they do come off. I ended up pulling my first cover back off and inserting each seal into the head before putting the cover on. I was lucky to not drop any. Live and learn.
Do you guys think we need to use new seals here? Are they rubber? Can you tell me what the part number is by this diagram, maybe?

What hoses did you get? Do you have a part number?

I don't think the seals need to be replaced. I am curious if they can be ordered separately. It is good to note they are not a standard shaped o-ring. My game plan if one was lost was to source a used cover on ebay with them still attached

I found this page that might be helpful.

I did not replace the seals (cam shaft bearing caps), but I did clean them. Mine were all in really good condition and quite honestly, I did not know ahead to order these and I did not want to wait for new ones to come in. They are inexpensive parts so it may be a good thing to order along with the hoses. From what I can tell (the diagrams are a bit confusing) the part #s are as follows:

111590P010 - Figure 8 (2)
111590S010 - Round (2)
9043010024 - Round (4)

I hope this helps.

I have actually not ordered the hoses yet as they take until feb 10 to come in if I order online and the dealer wants like $50+ each for them. I will likely bend over and pay the dealer due to timing. You may be able to use a flex rubber hose, but the stock hoses are insulated and each have a couple of 90's in them and I think they need to hold there shape in order for the air filter housings and other items to fit properly on top of them. I may be wrong though and am overthinking it.
