Hi all.
what brand engine air filters do you guys use? I’ve heard lots of things about k&n. Some say to avoid, some say no to.
I’m going to avoid, but do most of you guys use Toyota branded ? Or denso? Or random after market one from eBay? Please let me know, as my filters are looking filthy !

I am yet to see benefits of aftermarket filters other than price.

I heard something about k & n causing loss in engine oil, is that true? Because I recently got the low oil sign and topped off with 1 1/2 quart of oil. Could it be because I abuse the living lights out of the car or is it actually the filters?

OEM for me. I ordered from a Lexus dealer online...I think they were in Texas.

Just use OE or denso, K&N will allow abrasives into the engine and others are not as flow optimized or protective. The stock LS460 air induction system is already very well designed will not gain much at all from a "better" panel.
