2010 LS 460 Sport I bought last week just had a warning light come on for brake pad wear. I have dealt with replacing brake pads on my previous 08 LS, so I looked up the replacement Brembo pads. Conclusion is they are expensive and don't last with a lot of brake dust. I guess that's what you get for having something Italian in a Japanese car.

I am happy to do a swap of the Brembo system in my car with a regular Lexus system plus another $800. That's less than what the forum member in the post above paid using parts off eBay. For what it's worth, the Sport edition LS Brembo is in had Lexus platinum coverage and maintenance record since new for over $15K in routine maintenance. （brake pads, control arms, oil change etc.) Ideally, the swap should be done by an ASE certified personnel, but not against DIYers with qualified experience. Can meet anywhere in Southern California.

Now, I just have to change the air suspension to coil down the road...
