Took a while to go through all the pictures!
I see you owned 2013 GS 350 in the past. How did you like it?

I'm always curious to see how much these dealers are making off of trades. Are you willing to share what they gave you trade in value and if they needed to do any reconditioning or repairs to get it ready for sale?

They gave me $40k, and sent it to auction so my guess is they lost money on it.

Truly, it’s a great car. I have all the records in PDF, oil changed every 5k miles, has a full front clear bra, brand new tires, has the CarPlay kit and the wiring for the dashcam is there if they didn’t remove it.

the dealer doesn't lose money... its all about the net between the new car and what number they put on the trade..
all the customer cares about is the bottom line in your case it was the lease cost for the new car..
there probably was 10-15,000 dollars hold back to the dealer on the outgoing s class, so knowing what the dealer nets, probably will never become known
this is why sometimes when you see used cars that are 2,000 to 5k below market and everyone thinks it was hit or something wrong, sometimes you can get amazing deals.
sometimes, little luck and someone trading a car with a nice pull on the new car with a dealer hold back with money from the manufacturer, 2nd owners can win big...
but rest assure they didnt lose money on the trade... as you are aware of.
hope your enjoying the S, nice pick up you did.

Oh I’m well aware lol. Let’s say they didn’t make money on it the way they hoped to.
Im confident I got the best deal available for my situation on the east coast, let’s put it that way.
