Default Can this be true? Control Arms and Rear Shock leaking fluid

I'm scratching my head on this and I would appreciate some insight if possible. I have a 2013 LS460 that is CPO. CPO is good until 2025, I think. 3 months ago or so, I took the car in at 61,000 miles or so for the EXPENSIVE 60,000 mile service. 60,000 mile service went fine and no issues that I recall. Fast forward to this weekend...I drop the car off for 65,000 mile service (I took it in at 67,000). I ask to have mechanic check to see if they think alignment needs to be done as it has a an ever slight pull so it seems (which has been there for over a year). Dealer comes back to me with the following: 1. Both lower front arms have torn bushings. $1,900 to repair. 2. Right rear shock is leaking hydraulic fluid and needs to be replaced - cost $1,600. Since the vast majority of you know cars better than me, I'd like your views: Is it likely that these things just cropped up over the last 6,000-7,000 miles? Shouldn't these items have been flagged at 60,000? Based on the threads I've noticed that control arms give out early on these cars (my LS430 control arms lasted well beyond 100K miles) so I guess I am not surprised about those. Are the arms typically covered by CPO? Are shocks covered by warranty? If these things are not covered at all, I may call the independent lexus shop (they service my 430) to see what they would charge, but I wonder would that cause future CPO issues. Anyone know if having work done outside of the dealership would affect overall CPO warranty? Lexus dealer is in Grapevine area of DFW. Thanks for any isnight / advice.

My front lower control arms and front dampers were replaced for free with CPO/VSA.
Ask your SA (service advisor).

My 2014 with 87K miles developed a leak on both rear shocks. Controls arms are good for now.
I replaced all four shocks with Fortune Auto Coilover setup. Smooth ride with less body roll than the stock setup.
When I have to replace my control arms I will go with the Figs setup.
So since you are covered under warranty the Dealer should fix it at no extra cost to you.

Thanks for feedback. Dealer came back and said both repairs are covered. I'm just surprised these things were not picked up at 60K service or just all of a sudden developed, but what do I know.

The bushings and shocks will go out when they go out. Quite possible that they both developed issues between your last service and the current one.
