I just purchased a 2012 LS 460 which I love!! The only flaws on the car are some trim pieces around the HVAC vents. Plastic pieces that are in the outer shell. The dealer says that the parts are not available without purchasing the whole HVAC system for the dash at about $2300. I

Has anyone had this problem? They pieces would be easy to repaint if I dared to take off the parts.....Ebay? I will try to attach photos.

I have the same problem though I did not address it yet. You can get that panel on Ebay for ~$200+, remove the silver pieces off the donor and install in your panel. Some people opt out painting the pieces.

I have that issue and am too lazy to touch it. It might be fixable with a wrap of some kind.

I found a piece of trim (see below) that has the upper silver portion but you will need a piece that goes below this on too. I think, $180 is too much for such irrelevant part. I like the idea of a wrap.

Same issue with our G37. Vinyl wrapped it and it's still good after 7 years.

Bring it by an auto paint shop, I can't foresee this being too expensive to have them do. Pull off the part and bring it in for a bigger discount.

I'd bet under $100....and if that was in my car, I would get it taken care of ASAP myself
