Default LS600h rear stabilizer bar bearing change

Are there any simple solution to change rear stabilizer bar bearing or do I have to buy a new one and change the whole stabilizer bar with bearing?

I believe, Lexus sells only the stabilizer bar for LS460. I am not sure if the bearing can be removed. I have seen stabilizer bars on Ebay from low mileage donors.

Not the price is problem, because the genuine is $101.62 from Japan. The problem is that the procedure to change the rear stabilizer bar is complicated. It means much labour cost. Maybe the labour cost will be much more than the part price.

That is not a bad price. I have never replaced the part on LS460/LS600h, so I have no ideas what it is going to take. Do you have description of the rear sway bar replacement?

I was looking at used bars, I do not see a bearing you are looking to replace. I can see 2 rubber bushing but no bearing...

I have a 460 and it has bushings, did you mean bushings? I already have new stabilizer bar links and bushings and plan to replace them in the near future. I don't anticipate it being too difficult or time consuming, however, I have not inspected that part of the car yet.

I believe, it is a bushing. Though, it is not serviceable meaning you have have to replace the whole bar. Also, I believe, there are different version w/ and w/o air suspension.

Thank you! I have air suspension but I think I have not active stabilizer bar in my car. I asked my dealer but he could not give me any fix answer for it by VIN number.

Try parts.lexus.com, use your VIN number. It should provide you with a correct part number.

I took a good look at mine and decided that it’s not worth the effort. I’m flabbergasted at its design and placement. Why, Toyota, why??!

Yes, I understand you. There is same situation like air strut where you cannot change only the tower bearing only you can change whole air strut in whole. It is craziness.

My VIN number is not found on this system. I always looking for parts on the epc-data.com site. It is not problem with the part number. The problem is that the site does not know that my car has active stabilizer or not.
I have to lift up my car and see under that I can decide it.

By the way, an active stabilizer bar costs around $9k if you get it from Lexus.
