Default Are these engine mounts refurbished or new?

Is refurbishing mounts even a thing? The fairly cheap price and the thread lock pre applied to them has me questioning if they are new.

Has anyone else had thread lock pre applied to their new mounts? I checked out my pictures from a few years ago, my other mounts appear to have had clean threads, no threadlock. They were purchased direct from a Lexus dealer.

Here is the site I purchased them from.

I'm more than likely overthinking this. They do have that new rubber smell. I heard china does sell that snake oil, new rubber smell
Some pics with flash, some without.

They’re not refurbished. Sometimes they take returned parts that don’t appear to have been used and call them refurbished. If they want to be really bad they would call a used part refurbished. Probably OEM but who knows? You can always look up the OEM part number on Aliexpress and see if China is making knockoffs.

I do not remember any type of coating on the threads on my recently installed mounts. The only pictures I took of the new ones show the bottom bolt only (LS460 RWD) and there is no coating on the threads. The top covers in your pictures look a little beat up as well.

That's not loctite. It's part of the zinc anti-corrosion coating on the fasteners. You see it on metric bolts at the hardware store, sometimes green, red, yellow, or blue.

The updated RWD mounts have that red paint on them. Assuming so a quick visual check can be done to see if mounts have been replaced. Think the old mounts had green.

Thanks guys. Between the zinc coating, smell, and pink paint I think they probably are new. The top rubber covers have some sort of uneven coating on them, makes them look dirty. It does rub off. I've had the car in the air for a few days. I haven't quite found the motivation to start yet.
