Hello,
I have a 2007 RWD w/ 171k miles, over the winter the power steering was having issues in the cold weather, when the car warmed up it would start working again. I figured it was a loose connection and put it off. A few weeks ago the power steering stopped completely. I took the vehicle to the dealer to diagnose.
//Service Notes
Custom states lack of power steering.
C1552 -Pig Power Supply Voltage.
Aftermarket positive terminal would not tighten properly.
Also found power steering converter to have failed. 12v to converter. contver to to ECU to around 36v -48v. Voltage at the power steering ECU 4.5v.
Replace power steering converter and positive battery terminal
//End
I receive the vehicle deciding to purchase the oem terminal and seeking to eBay for the converter part number(89650-50140/0-G1102-00060 / 112900-1366). Now, when I receive the car my power steering miraculously works, I thought they fixed it for the free even though the invoice stated replace parts cost and i only paid to the diagnoses. But the power steering stopped working again a day later.
Now the issue I have replaced the terminal and the converter (twice I tried 89650-50140/0-G1102-00060 / 112900-1364 and it did not work so I figure it wasnt the right one a bought another) and my power steering is still not functioning. Wondering if anyone can provide some information on diagnosing the issue, I cant seem to locate the fuse to either the convertor or the power steering ecu. I am really hoping that the fuse is just blown.
Thanks

It looks like you made the same mistake I did although you changed the wrong part twice ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The part you need to replace has a few names I call it a dc to dc converter. It's located under the battery.
It looks like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/2007-2017-L...Cclp%3A2334524
See the 2 files in this link. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...l#post10705533
