LS460L US version to Europe, HELP
Hello, in Germany I was able to purchase an American LS460L 2015. The car is wonderful and has only run 11800 miles. I am looking for help in converting the units in the car. Fahrenheit to Celsius, Miles to Kilometers and PSI to Bar. The navigation system is designed for the American market and if anyone here knows how to reprogram it for Europe I would be very grateful. I want the American Japanese to be as European as possible. Thank you all for your support and have a safe trip.

I believe techstream can change units, and I have seen a fellow in the UK reflash Japanese market aristo head units into English. There may be someone out there capable of reflashing LS units.

I am not sure what you meant by "I have made a request to Techstream"...
You need to get access to Techstream software and connect it to your car, in "Customize" section should be "Unit conversion". I believe, it allows changing temperature. I have not tried it myself though.
I read some Toyota/Lexus vehicles do not allow changing units and are hard-coded to region specific units.

I have the same problem and live in Germany. The miles can be changed to KM. This works on the vehicle via the display control without other tools. At Techstream I asked if they have a software to change F to C. Unfortunately not. Unfortunately not. I am at a loss here and would like to change the unit from Fahrenheit to KM.
I am grateful for your help.

If Techstream does not allow changing units, you might have find used units locally manufactured for your region.

Thanks for the tip. Used units for a 2015 model are not to be found here in Europe and not affordable new. The Lexus LS460L is a rarity here. People prefer to drive Mercedes or BMW.

You might be able to get canadian units as they use SI as well.

Thanks for the answer.
I have checked with my local Lexus dealer. The Lexus dealer does not have the ability to go that deep into the system. Unfortunately, he can't help.
I have also checked with Techstream. They also tell me that their software can't do that.
It is crazy. My vehicle is built for America. It speaks English, French and Spanish. The miles can be changed to km.
How do I change the temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius? It's crazy if it can't do what any little thermometer can do.
Always have a good trip.
Greetings

I suspect, you will have to change the Temperature Control Module build for non-US market. I believe, the part number is 88650-50N00. Please, do your research as well.
